Ever buy a gun that you no nothing about ?

Yes as it was a Star claimed to be 9mm, with Sam Brown belt, holster, two spare single stack mags in leather on the Sam Brown. All at a asked value of $60.00 as down payment on a CB home set.

Turned out to be a 38 Super (though registered as a 9mm in Vancouver & in Summerland) & contacted Star that sold me the 9mm bbl plus three mags for 9mm at $125.00. I felt it was a good buy, but really not as I prefer my Browning P-35 & CZ-75, but above all my custom made 45ACP as best of all.
 
Yeah, just bought a Kropatchek! If I had only known what the brass and dies cost!........:rolleyes:
Some years ago, a Reising .22 auto pistol.
Belgian revolver, tried to make ammo for it, Real pain in the arse. Finally reamed out the cylinder for .44 Russian so I could shoot the damm thing!!!

Oh yeah, Yesterday a Dutch Beaumont, but I already have the brass and dies for that one.;)
