I recently re-aquired a nice little gun I sold a while ago.It is a beautiful little Husqvarna featherweight 30-06 with 20 1/2" barrel. the ballance of it is awesome and it is a joy to hold.I love it even more the second time around!

I have only been able to buy one back a Rem 700 222 HV that tacked and still does. I just love this gun.
But man I sold some sold some I would like back.
sold 7 model 92s for $900
A pristine model 70 pre 64 30.06 $250 and told buy give me first chance if he decided to sell it, sold it 6 months later never got chance.
better stop could go on for ever.

Never sell! my wife wont let me, we keep hearing the "I wish I never sold it" stories at the local gun range, gun shops, ect (much like the "I had a insert classic car or truck here line) so she keeps reminding me when I feel weak that Ill regret it someday.

But then how do you get to try virtually every gun design known to man? I'm well on my way! ;)

Buy Backs?

Yes, was lucky enough to buy back my very first centerfire rifle a Rem 700 in .308 Win.....

And I'm looking to buy back a nice Husqvarna H-5000 featherweight in .308 Win I sold about 8 years ago. I know where it is & who has it [via an friend of a friend].... so I've put out the 'feelers' to see if he will part with it.

I have never bought one back, There does come a time where you do need to thin the heard!
I just sold off 3, that i would have never used! Where they good rifles yes 100% 22-250, 308 and a 30-06. Pretty common rounds that can be replaced anytime if needed..

I bought back one a few years ago. Once in my possession again I remembered why I sold it in the first place. Promptly resold it a couple of weeks later.

Tempted, but didn't do it. Close inspection showed the stock had been altered ( comb lowered) to suit the guy I sold it to ... didn't fit me anymore - and too much hassle to get it back higher. Shame ... nice wood.

There are two that have tempted me. My Winchester Model 70 Varmint in .243 is one I would buy back in a second if the fellow were to allow me the oppertunity. And my Ruger Vaquero in .357 would also be welcome. I traded that one in a moment of weakness that bit me in the butt. I figured I could just buy another one. But mine had the rosewood grips and polished stainless. The new ones come with plastic grips! :puke: And if she becomes available again, it too will be welcome.

My buddy and I swapped a Sako 375 back and forth about 3 times. Its an awsome little gun, 7 3/4 lbs with 1.5x5 Leupold. 20 or 21" barrel, Brown stock, decellerator, Styre sights and Warne or Leupold Sako rings. The only reason we swap it is because its a push feed. He's since Guncoated it and had Corlane refinish the stock. He's just bought a Stainless Mod. 70 375 so its back for sale. The price is right if anyones intertested. Send me a PM and I'll hook you up. Oh ya, its a drill.
