To celebrate the upcoming zombie apocalypse, and hunting season, I opened a new box of bullets and loaded them all, for my 7 mm rem mag.. Luckily I have all the data I need, and I have a fair amount of recycled range brass, which I size before I clean.. Anyway, moving along, after I had the 100 loads made, and I went to put them away, as I do not expect the zombies are coming here this eve. In the spot where loaded 7mm mag ammo goes, there was about 125 rounds loaded but slightly hidden. I do not shoot that much, and never have that much loaded especially in a magnum. I will put a note inside the die box to remind me to use up the stuff I have loaded. I guess this is what happens when you load for several cartridges. I should have loaded 7x57, I am out of those.

I usually have a rough idea on how many loaded rounds I have in storage. The ammo ain't going bad if stored properly so you just saved yourself some reloading time down the road. That's how I see it. If I have idle time, I'll crank out some ammo even if I have some already and just rotate the stash.
