I've stuck with two hunting rifles over the last 20 yrs or so, a 7-08 and a 338winmag. I have some guns I keep around if I want to go shoot certain disciplines at a range, haven't been in quite a while, but, the option is still open to me if I want to go. I just started playing with a 450-400ne for something different to do, first rifle I've bought in at least 15 yrs. I should clean out the safe a bit, but, I may want to go do that thing I bought whichever gun for again. I guess I just like to tinker and experiment, cuz I sure don't need all the extra iron otherwise.
