Calling all mall ninjas! :D

A friend gave this to me to sight in for him. He couldn't get it dialed in and the local gunshop even boresighted it for him but it was no where close. It took me awhile of fiddling but I got her zeroed. Then I had some fun with it. ;) It's a Baikal somthing or another. The length of pull is too long for me and the magazine is a pain in the ass to load. It wasn't very accurate, doing about an inch with 5 shots at 50 yards, and that target was shot at 10. It's clunky but boy did it get attention at the range. And I admit, it was kind of fun to blast off. And it does look kind of cool, but if you tell anybody, I'll deny it.

Shooting from the hip, no wonder it took so long to sight in :D

It's the Baikal MP151. They've only been readily available in Canada a few months.

Baikal m&p 161

I have one and love it! Initially I had a few problems that I sorted out.(slide wouldn't lock back on last round, had to increase the bend in one part so that it would engage the slide on the mag). All of that plasictic comes off and you are left with one piece, barrel and receiver. Mine doesn't like the wildcat rounds, shaves off one side and jams. Regular high velocity round points are best. Looks cool, feels great! Finally a full adult sized .22! The magazines are a pain in the butt to insert with the stupid curve.

I've had one since last summer eats all the cheap ammo accuracy is not to good on a hot summer day after a mag or 2 barrel is a pencil Frontier has them listed so does Ellwood Epps But mine is a fun gun just no tack driver my 10/22 target is far more accurate.
