Ever see one of these?

I thought everyone can shoot 1" groups at 50 from the hip!:D Oh well I guess everyone else just has to practice a little more:stirthepot2:. Cool looking gun for a semi auto .22, hopefully get to try one, one of these days.

I love mine, looks cool and it's the only "tactical" rifle I own, so I get a bit mall ninja when I shoot it.
Definately likes high velocity ammo, and with the open sights I'm pretty accurate with it!

Needs bigger mags though!

I've had mine now for about 6 months and really like it. Everyone at the range always wants to shoot it and its a fun little semi to plink with.
Tears down quick with just 1 screw for cleaning.

There are only two problems that I have had. The first is a design flaw whereby the scope must be removed to dis-assemble:

And the second was that I found I needed to add weight "up front" to get my groups down to under an inch @ 50 yds. This is my current shooting configuration.

I didn't mean to offend you, I just remember the Ladas' lightbulbs would burn out before you got the new car home from the dealer, and the body would start to rust the next week! Oh, and I forgot about trying to start them, been there, done that, know CRAP when I see it!!!!

Well Ben, autos aside there are a fair number of well made Russian rifles. I have one of these MP's and it functions real well. FS

BC gunner is that barrel weight just a clamp on or did you have the barrel threaded and where did you get it.

not every Russian gun is crap: i have several that - while they wont win any beauty pageants - are bombproof, accurate, reliable and far better than any western gun in their price range.

that said, the gun this thread is based on looks way too 'Star Trek' for my tastes. i am not a Fudd - but even i gotta draw the line somewhere :D
