Ever tried 577/450 Martini Henry to 45Colt Caliber Adapters?

Ummm if you're really lucky, a Martini bore diameter will be within those parameters. Add about .005 on either end and you will be in the overall ballpark.

Martini groove diameter and land diameter will be different for every rifle but don’t forget that theirs a very long tapered throat that starts way bigger then groove diameter at the muzzle. Bore for the mk4’s should be .454 or so land to land and they really need a .468-.470 bullet bc of the throat.

Also, if you are only shooting at the range, you don't need to resize the neck; just slide the slug in on top of the powder. I would put a card wad on top of the powder and carry them in a box with the case mouth facing up

Card wad on top the powder in the bottle neck? On top of the cotton or kapok filler sure you don’t want anything solid below the case neck it will cause pressure spikes(cream of wheat slugs up and does exactly that.

A partial "touche" , although I would load the black powder up to the neck and more particularly up to the base of the bullet. Also, I don't think was mentioned, use a drop tube when filling the case

With straight from the measure depending on what brass is used it’s over 100gr to the base of the neck with single F drop tube would settle it down requiring more. .577-450 military charge was around 85gr of black powder to shoot anywhere near the sights that’s about where one needs to be. Cotton balls(real cotton) or kapok is used as a space filler then a lube cookie if desired and then the bullet. The .577-450 biggest issue is the large case capacity especially with reformed magtech brass.
