There needs to be a sticky for every ammunition, powder and firearm website that popping up in Canada, that are legit scams. To help warn people. As the questions of their legitimacy comes up a lot.



Here are some ways to spot scam or questionable sites



1. Google lens some product photos. It may link other sites.



2 Check the about us, contact us. Often look for words like, 2A, state law, we the people, or other American lingo. Also google their email address and phone numbers. As they can be linked to other scam sites.



3. Shipping ammo by Canadian post or USPS. Using other businesses terms of services. Sask for example and say SFRC TOS (Ontario business) or ammo titled AK47 ammo and not 762x39.



4. Not requiring a license for ammunition purchases.



5. Pop ups that so in so bought this item, from another country.



6. Selling handguns and other prohibited guns ( ARs and AK47). Also if they pay by crypto only.



7. If sites like X reload, budget shooting supply or any sponsor sites dont list powder in stock, but these places do. It is likely a scam.

Thanks to all maintaining this. When searching for Genesis shotguns, canadaammunition.com a known scam site comes up as a dealer that ships here. So now they are pretending to be a firearms dealer too.
