Not sure why they won't make a sticky in the reloading section. But check out the link below to the other sticky.

There needs to be a sticky for every ammunition, powder and firearm website that popping up in Canada, that are legit scams. To help warn people. As the questions of their legitimacy comes up a lot.

Here are some ways to spot scam or questionable sites

1. Google lens some product photos. It may link other sites.

2 Check the about us, contact us. Often look for words like, 2A, state law, we the people, or other American lingo. Also google their email address and phone numbers. As they can be linked to other scam sites.

3. Shipping ammo by Canadian post or USPS. Using other businesses terms of services. Sask for example and say SFRC TOS (Ontario business) or ammo titled AK47 ammo and not 762x39.

4. Not requiring a license for ammunition purchases.

5. Pop ups that so in so bought this item, from another country.

6. Selling handguns and other prohibited guns ( ARs and AK47). Also if they pay by crypto only.

7. If sites like X reload, budget shooting supply or any sponsor sites dont list powder in stock, but these places do. It is likely a scam.

Be caution with any webstore that is Advertised as Bulk, Ammunition, or Canada, or different variations. If you are unsure, ask.

So like Bulk Ammo Canada, Canada Ammo, Reloading Canada, or Canada Reloaders, or Ammo Supply Canada, Canada Ammunition Supply Smokeless Power Reloaders Canada. or they shorten Ammunition to Ammo Or same website but .com vs .ca

Thanks to all maintaining this. When searching for Genesis shotguns, canadaammunition.com a known scam site comes up as a dealer that ships here. So now they are pretending to be a firearms dealer too.

Does anyone know if this one is legit .
True North Reloading , 30 St SE

No. True North Reloading is a SCAM. They ask for e-transfer to a "Geraldine Sterlie" and never ship. BUT they come again with a tracking number that leads to the "Shipper": Timber Line Xpress with THE SAME post address! Who then asks for a "refundable hazmat deposit" payable ALSO by e-transfer to the same"Geraldine Sterlie". They try to scam TWICE a person. E-mails come from Europe but the "money collector" is in Canada.

Would love to see a list of all the LEGIT sites. This list of scammer sites is awesome too just would like to see the trusted ones as well. I strictly purchase powders thru my LGS who I love supporting but some of their prices are pretty crazy compared to others like Xreload. Is xreload a reputable one?

Start a new thread then. Many people are being scammed by these scam sites.

Yes Xreload is legit.

Thanks for this list of scammers. This one almost hooked me today for Red Dot:

Smokeless Powder .ca - ht tps://smokelesspowder.ca/product/alliant-red-dot-smokeless-gun-powder/

Thanks again.

I don't know if the OP has submitted them to these guys or not, but, they said they mined a couple of Cdn forums for bad vendors, may want to check if all these are already on there. https://stopgunscams.com/

No I haven't.

Checked the site and report feature didn't work and it was just a very long scroll down list. That likely nobody going to bother to search.

Also the search doesn't work.

Why Why so many Here is the Newest and Greatest CanadareloadingSupplies.com
They claim to be in Blaineville QC , located in rear of a building. The numbers on site and email all go to someone..but after a while they stop answering...they will ask for PAL ( Photo) and they only use E-Transfer to a Tonnysseremba email luswatatonny@gmail.com I made the mistake so that you do not. Not sure how to get this to more Reloaders so if anyone on this site/Thread can post where they think this will help. I thankyou

Great Job guys! I have been warning our customers about some these for years now! It was especially bad during the primerpocaypse. They have gotten smarter now and they use the less aggressive pricing, just cheaper enough than everyone else so that they do not look obvious. What is catching people is that some of these websites look very slick.

Though they're not getting creative with the names.

That is still a red flag as I only know of 2 or 3 legit store that has ammo, or reloading in their name.
