Like I said in my other post. It started out as one. Then was getting many threads in general asking if this or that was legit. Then people like blaming us for not any warnings on them, when there where posts.. So posted it in general for those that did not reload and get it out more. That became a sticky. That doesn't happen often. Meaning it will always stay on top. Where the reloading one will have to be bumped.

Sorry that you had to contribute twice. You're more then welcome to start your own.

They're both simular and educates you on what to look for. Im sorry I cannot hold your hand.

Why I linked both. That one in this, this one in that.

Not sure why they won't make a sticky in the reloading section. But check out the link below to the other sticky.

There needs to be a sticky for every ammunition, powder and firearm website that popping up in Canada, that are legit scams. To help warn people. As the questions of their legitimacy comes up a lot.

Here are some ways to spot scam or questionable sites

1. Google lens some product photos. It may link other sites.

2 Check the about us, contact us. Often look for words like, 2A, state law, we the people, or other American lingo. Also google their email address and phone numbers. As they can be linked to other scam sites.

3. Shipping ammo by Canadian post or USPS. Using other businesses terms of services. Sask for example and say SFRC TOS (Ontario business) or ammo titled AK47 ammo and not 762x39.

4. Not requiring a license for ammunition purchases.

5. Pop ups that so in so bought this item, from another country.

6. Selling handguns and other prohibited guns ( ARs and AK47). Also if they pay by crypto only.

7. If sites like X reload, budget shooting supply or any sponsor sites dont list powder in stock, but these places do. It is likely a scam.

Be caution with any webstore that is Advertised as Bulk, Ammunition, or Canada, or different variations. If you are unsure, ask.

So like Bulk Ammo Canada, Canada Ammo, Reloading Canada, or Canada Reloaders, or Ammo Supply Canada, Canada Ammunition Supply Smokeless Power Reloaders Canada. or they shorten Ammunition to Ammo Or same website but .com vs .ca

I want to add Canada reloadingsupplies.com to the above list

Since I cannot search every site.

A trend is they put Canada or Canadian and what they sell. Or what they sell and Canada.
So like Ammo Canada. Or Reloading supply Canada.

At the age of the people that would bust these sites and there back ground with buying components i would think that the buyer would recognize the scam but apperantly not
So if you go to a new site to buy a good deal on components instead of going to the places that you have been using and get scammed ????

People just see the product and focus on that. Lower all their guard.

I asked GoogleAI if canadagunworks.com was legitimate and they said it was. I then brought up the fact that they had allowed me to order 6400 Winchester XPRs in 308 and only accept crypto and e-transfer…. Then GoogleAI admitted its mistake.

I'm starting to wonder if I have a different googleAI? Maybe your prompt educated it enough to change it's info? this is what I get...

No, canadagunworks.com shows multiple severe red flags typical of a fraudulent pop-up e-commerce scam. [1]

Red Flags & Risks
  • Payment Methods: The site avoids standard secure merchant checkouts and relies strictly on alternative methods like direct bank deposits or e-transfers. [1]
  • Inventory Issues: It lists massive, unrealistic quantities or restricted items in a generic layout with poorly formatted or automated text. [1]
  • Contact/Address Discrepancies: The site displays generic template wording and stock addresses that do not match a verified, reputable Canadian brick-and-mortar storefront or licensed gunsmith. [1]
Stick to established, community-vetted Canadian firearm and tactical retailers with verifiable physical storefronts and secure credit card processing.
