 First time for everything! Nice looking rig.

My favorite rifle is not technically MY rifle. It is my Dads early weatherby vanguard in 7mm Rem Mag. It shoots excellent and has nice wood and a lot of fond memories.

Of my own rifles my first was a M700 LSS 300 RUM in a pepper laminate stock. I know it is not the ideal cartridge that people want to shoot but it is my first rifle and it shoots so well I would never part with it.

I have a M700 SPS .270 win restocked with a walnut handle that is nice and light and shoots well that is becoming a favorite but I also recently picked up a M70 supergrade in 7mm rem mag that will give the rest a run for the top spot.

It would have to be my Savage 99 in .303 savage. Built in 1911 and given to me by my great grandfather. Lots of nicks and dings but they all have a story. It also has half a penny from the 50's as a front sight. It is more accurate than i am and a joy to shoot. This will not be sold.

Winchester model 70 Winlite 280rem. I had the barrel cut back to 18.5''. Hence my handle 280carbine. It is my go to big game rifle.

M77 Tang safety in .308 with an old Bushnell 1.5-4.5 scope.

Shes not the prettiest gun, nor is the scope of the highest quality, but I love her nonetheless. Nice and light, compact, and is a tackdriver if I do my part. Plus .308 is a friggin awesome all around calibre for Ontario.

My favorite gun is a post WWI small-ring sporter M98 with double triggers and express style rear sight. Nice gun and the 8x57mm caliber is a good all-around caliber when handloaded.

Sauer 90 in 7mm rem mag, two 300rums in rem 700, husky270 crown grade,250 sav mod 99 and a weatherby mk5 30-378, I couldnt part with any of these, i love these all equally

Globe

Glober Sporter in .270 Win - Gun my dad shot his first deer with Nice Monty Carlo stock
Marlin 1895 SG in 45-70 - First Gun i personally ever bought

-Winchester model 88 in .284 win (grandfather's - that gun has more moose to its name than can be counted)
-Winchester model 100 in .284 win

I kinda have a thing for the .284 win cartridge, damn expensive though and tough to find, reloading stuff cant come soon enough!

My favorite rifles that I will never part with and I just realized how much I stand by this because just last week I couldn't trade one of my barrels are my T/C Contender carbines.

I have 2 stainless steel Contender frames and 8 carbine barrels 22LR/204 Ruger/223/308Bellm/375JDJ/10mm/45 Colt/45-70 and a 50 cal Gonic muzzle loader barrel arriving any day now and I also have 5 different stock sets 6 if you count the super shortened for my 4 year old son butt stock.

With the cartridges my barrels are chambered in I can hunt anything in NA from gophers/grouse to elk/moose/grizzly plus these rifles/barrels have become very rare and extremely difficult to come by in Canada.

I just need a s/s 410 shotgun barrel and a middle bore like a 6.8spc or 6.5JDJ #2 and my collection will be complete...

:D
