Hi all,
Everything to do with my recent restricted purchase was approved, and I am now in possession of the pistol.
The email states that "if you have not received all of your registration results within 2 weeks please contact etc etc"
I was under the impression that I would receive a new RPAL with an ATT attached.....can anyone confirm this, or tell me how to chase this up?
Thanks....and yes.....I'm on hold!!!

The pace of printing new PALs and ATT conditions, and mailing the envelope is not fast. The same applies to printed registration certificates (although faster). I would just email your province's CFO as no one is answering phones these days.

vp6111....here's a thread in which you were involved back in 2018...

ATT is for transport, RPAL is for purchase.

When your RPAL arrives you are covered for ATT for all of your toys.

After your first restricted purchase you might receive a new RPAL card with the .0001 extension after your number. Maybe designates the addition of the ATT to the card?

Mine currently has .0006 after the number....does this mean anything? It certainly isn't .0001. Now I'm sooo confused.....can I take my new pistol to the range or not??https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.png

Appreciate all the help BTW.

I believe “.###x” is the issue number for the card. You probably have had 6 cards issued to you since the POL/PAL card system took over from the FAC system.

Officially, you need a paper registration certificate in hand to take that restricted to the range. I don't know if you had an RPAL previously or not (sounds like you had at least PAL with several renewals). If yes, then you need to receive the certificate first. If not, then wait for a response from CFO re ATTs attached to your RPAL in the system and you need to receive the reg certificate.

Friend of mine has a transfer go through and he only received his "new" PAL 3 weeks later (this week). This was a PAL that was only 2 years in so it was not a renewal. Simply a reprint with the licence condition document. I don't think province matters but this was in Manitoba for what that's worth.
