I wonder if anyone know this...
I did both my non-restricted and restricted exam on May 5. I got my stamped result back for the non-restricted on June 5, but nothing for the restricted as of today. (July 10)
I called the CFC and the guy said he'll do a "paper lookup" for me. Anyone knows what he means exactly? And any idea how long that could take?

Furthermore, I have sent my application for the PAL already. Would it actually be necessary for my to supply the exam results, or would they be able to looked that up on their end?

Thanks everyone!

If the results are in the Firearms Program database, the staff at the processing site can access them. The 'paper lookup' will be going back to the original hardcopies to find your exams and forms. It's a good practice for examiners to put a person's CFSC and CRFSC paperwork together, but not all do this, and there's always the possiblity of the two getting accidentally separated.

Here's an update in case anyone else have this issue:
As indicated, I've called fseso regarding my exam result and they'll look that up and send it to me.
I've called CFP and they are requesting that I send them the exam result, so my guess is that the processing staffs can't access access the results in the Firearms Program database.

The question is... is it possible that someone screwed up and my exam results never got entered into the system? This is frustrating to say the least...

Defintely possible. Even possible that there was a typo along the way and the records are listed under someone with a name one letter off, or one digit off on the PAL.

"...Exam result..." You should have had that immediately. Depending on the number of bodies on the course. Marking tests isn't difficult.
"...what he means..." Likely looking to see if the instructor did his part and notified the CFC of the results of his course.

Oh, it wasn't a complete course. I simply challenged the exams. The examiner did give me the score, but I never got a piece of paper for it.
I was also told that it need to be stamped by the CFO regardless...

Are you sure? Don't Ontario people have to wait for the results to be mailed to them, like the OP said?

Instructors in Ontario are NOT allowed to give a copy of the results to those who do the course/tests. We must send all of the paperwork to FSESO where it is reviewed and given the CFO's stamp, before being mailed directly to the student.

Here in NS when i took both my NR and Rpal, i got a copy to send off with my paperwork. dont recall if they(instructors) held onto a copy. i still have my own copys of my test. werid that its a federal thing, but province's handle it different
