Ok, so I'm aquiring a whole bunch
Of these Excel projectiles.
Problem is , there are no reloading specs on these.
They no longer make this brand and even internet searches bring up nothing
Anyone have any experience with them.
I'm new to reloading, so want to be sure.

I have used them. Quality was fair.

Use 180 gr lead cast bullet data for powder charge. USe the OAL that allows the bullet to fit the mag and chamber.

I use TiteGroup of 3.5 to 4.5 gr I suggest loading 10 of each, in 0.3 gr increments, to see what your gun likes the best. Mine like 3.5.

With 231 I use 4.0 to 5.5

A friend of mine bought some several years ago. They looked fine but the diameters were all over the map. Some were 3-4 thou oversize (some so big they wouldn't chamber). He ran them through a Lee .401 bullet size die and they turned out OK but he had to do a couple thousand of them so it took a while.

Like Ted said; Excel did not have a reputation for quality product.
Unless the price is a giveaway, (and then all you're going to use them for is going bang) better to steer clear.
