Well so far I can only shoot at a max distance of 25 yards (indoors) but at that distance with both guns I can call my shots on a "B" zone without too much trouble. That's a group a little bit smaller than my palm. Probably do a little better once I can shoot without freezing to death. Haven't had any fliers that weren't me yanking the trigger so far, so they seem pretty good in my guns.

HOWDY ; Got some EXCELLS in 45 colt cheap from another cowboy , these are good in a rifle even out to 100 yards . Yes some have no lube , there was two moulds used so some bullets are different but the same 250 g RNFP design . The lube is gumy in a die . The lead is softer than DRG ( my standard supplier ) DRG are little rocks in disguise as bullets . TOO hard for cowboy shooters in general . The Excells were kicked around and are years old , did I mention the cheap price , COWBOYS are poor and cheap ,Heck I will shoot em than go back to DRG after wards .

If I was thinking I would have checked here first. Picked up a 1000 ct of .430 Excel copper plated bullets thinking they would be great for my 44, theoreticly should not lead the barrel. After reading this and another post decided to check them out before I used them. OMFG, checked 50 bullets, dia varied from .424 to .433, weight varied from 211 to 222 grains for 220 gr!! Needles to say these are going back for a refund or exchange. Like was said before most of these bullets just fall inside the case, WTF, never seen such crap in 30 years of reloading.
