'Pulled the trigger', as they say, on a pretty clean Norinco M93 'Woodsman' today! Excited to take it out (already have my LTATT, as I'm already a member of a club :dancingbanana:), get to know it, bla bla bla.

Any thoughts on the wee beastie and it's type? Imagine it in a box, completely unmarred and minty fresh, for condition.

Interesting with a cocking indicator, not a large gun. Cheap, too!

First handgun since I renewed my RPAL five years ago... stoked.

I don't own one but put about 400 rounds trough one. It didn't skip a beat. My only complaint was the sharp edges on the trigger. If I owned one, I would try to smooth the edges to make it more comfortable to fire. Oh, and the slide lock is a total pain to operate as a righty.

I have nothing but praise for my lil M93. I've purposefully tried to get it to jam/short cycle, etc. and the only thing I could manage that with was CB shorts and CB longs. The thing even managed to cycle 22 shorts...

I own one as my first and so far only restricted. Its a ##### when it comes to dealing with the recoil spring. Otherwise I like it.

You've obviously never bought a Norinco before eh? LOL just kidding(sort of). Congrats and welcome to the club! I still remember my first handgun. I just sold it to a good friend for his first handgun. It wont be your last, that you can be sure!

I took mine out for the first time yesterday. Using an assortment of three different bulk-pack type ammo, it worked most of the time.

The primer strikes were really light, and some rounds just wouldn't ignite even if I tried several times. I don't know whether to blame the gun or the ammo. With my ruger 10/22 rifle this might happen once in 1000 rounds. The M93 did it quite a bit. Maybe 20 times in 400 rounds. Had about 10 misfeeds as well.

Since it was cheap, I'm happy with it. It's about what I expected.

Here it is (at the end I get a burning hot shell up my sleeve..laugh it up fellas):

Overall I enjoy mine - I've been having a fair amount of light strikes though. I'm going to give it a good cleaning before I go out again and see if that helps at all.

I cleaned mine last night and was reminded of the atrocious machining job on the inside (feed ramp, underside of the bolt, etc.). Made me chuckle. It in no way affects the function, but those norinco machinists are not exactly artists, lol.

I either buying a 3 pack of mags or a 3 pack of pistols come pay day ... I already bought one for the girlfriend so now I need one ... For the price why not 3?
