Excited to hear a review of the TNW SGP-QCP from Marstar

It sure looks like it has an AR15 type receiver to me. This is why it would be restricted.

An XCR is no more an AR15 variant than a Swiss Arms rifle or a Tavor.

There isn't a snowball's chance in hell that this would be anything but restricted.

Anyone thinking it will be non-restricted needs to step back from crack pipe.

There are a few non-restricted lowers, but they are on .50 cal Ferret uppers.

I kinda like that rifle. Real easy to change barrels and everything but the more I read on it the more I think I should come out of the closet and get an XCR in 7.62.

Plus I hate restricted bs.

How the #### does that work? There must be significant changes made to the lower.... otherwise you could just throw an AR upper on it. It looks like the new Ferrets have a butchered, loosely AR based lower anyway.

First yes these are restricted. Barrels are not chrome lined no sights included. The black ones are in stock tan one are a mth or 2 away. Gosh dang it forgot to find out the twist.

Companies need to start making more stuff like XCR and AR180....AR look alikes, but in non-restricted format. We dont have enough.

IIRC, no mag well.

Yep no mag well, so they're for single shot uppers only.

You could put a normal AR15 upper on it, but it would still be a single shot only upper. no way to feed extra ammo from it.

I have no problem at all with John or marstar...I guess we shouldn't relay information about rifles on this site? Where is the slagging taking place? I looked for some info on these rifles because it's a great concept and would happily own such a rifle, only if the are reliable and low maintenance.
After searching all the forums, the only objective info I can find just isn't favorable.... Not a shot at marstar, maybe you can educate us a bit more on these rifles since you seem to know all. CGN is where people go to find information not censorship, maybe you should be an MP
