We have orders in place with Hornady, so call your dealer to order.

Wonderful to see the company put such passion into their bullets! These look fantastic. I may even find a way to fit one inside a .577 diameter lead bullet I shoot normally, and see if the ballistics are improved! ;)

We really appreciate that Hornady is constantly pursuing new products, and working to evolve our sport.

Exciting! Thoughts on long range hunting?

The A-Tip is designed as a match bullet only - it is not designed to expand on game.

When will you be getting them to sell, starting my reloading

Hornady will be ready to ship starting in June, so expect to see these on dealer shelves by July.

.701 G1 for the 153gr 6.5mm and .823 G1 for the 230gr 30 cal! Hot Damn!!

Going to be trying these out for sure. Any idea of pricing?

30 cal
230g and 250g

Unless they come out with lighter weight not Gona happen for 308/3006

I think these 30 cal bullets are intended for magnum cartridges such as 300 PRC, 300 Win Mag, and 300 Norma Mag etc. Don't see many people buying these to run them in a 308. Most guys have left the 308 behind in competition and gone to the 6.5mm and 6mm cartridges.

We are pretty excited about this as well!

As mentioned, these heavy projectiles are intended for the magnum and up 30 cal rounds. Although, somehow making the 230gr work as a subsonic 308 would be fun.

Obviously we have not used these yet however I am very excited to see these in action. Hornady ,of all the bullet/ammunition companies ,has impreseed me the most. Having spent time at the Hornady factory and with Jason Hornady ,I have always sensed the passion and commitment of a family owned and operated company and most often choose their products personally as I feel more comfortable with them than most other bullet/ammunition companies that I feel have just conformed to the large industrial corporations that are dominating the gun industry today. When you see their team members hand inspecting certain style of sharp angle shoulder calibers (like 22-250) it gives you faith in what modern manufacturing can produce. Phil.
