I see the mounts, but what exactly dose it mean and how exactly dose this work? I'm assuming the sling attaches to one single point on the shotgun, and then the firearm hangs in front of you? Anyone have any pictures. Thanks

Concept is the same with a shotgun, I just pulled up this pic off the net. I have single point sling mount (S&J Hardware) and sling(Blue Force Gear SOC-C) on my Fabarm Martial Pro-Forces. you wouldn't want to use the single point set up for everything but works well for CQB type situations/scenarios.

Thanks for asking that question. I wanted to know how that worked as well!

right on Giarc, and to go a little further on explaining when you might want a SP sling it works well for when you are standing. Bringing the gun up to the ready and then back down multiple times. Walking. The overall length of the weapon is short. etc.

Times when it would not be the greatest if you are riding something like a quad or horse, lying down proned out and so on.

So it work very well in some cases but not for all, if your shotgun is over the 14-15 inch barrel length mark it is to long for SP sling IMO

If youdoing any climbing over logs or jogging and need the use of your hands the single-point isn't the best. Also pretty much crap for anything with more than a 14" barrel.
A fast adjustable 2-point with the points being a single point plate on the rear and side plate on the front is a lot easier to move around with IMHO.
Cheers,
Gramt
