A neat hopkins and allen falling block 16ga just popped up at local shop, for anyone interested.
I know I'm thinking about it...

^ now that’s cool

If it’s recent production I wonder if they make a Lancaster rifled barrel.

Some of what appear to be 410 conversions of rook rifles at intersurplus.

Some really nice guns especially the British. Here's two of my favourites, poor American cousins. First is a Stevens Hammerless with solid rib, checkered, mid bead in 20 gauge. Probably late teens, early 1920's made 2 5/8 chamber but my pal got a chamber reamer. Gonna ream it out to 2 3/4 inch, lots of meat in barrel to do so. Weighs about 7 1/2 pounds or a little less. In its day a cut above a typical " farmers gun".
Second is my go to partridge gun, an Iver Johnson Solid Rib in 16 gauge. Built on a 20 gauge frame so a little over 6 1/2 pounds with 30 inch full choke barrel. Discontinued in 1941 but 2 3/4 inch chamber so made sometime in the 1930's. Both tough to find guns in my area anyway.
