Im going hunting next week, and im trying out one of my older guns, choked super full ... what kind of range can i expect to kill medium sized ducks in with 2 3/4 #2 Bismuth ??? I have never used bismuth before and would like to know how it performs .. Thanks

I've shot a lot of geese with bismuth, it is good stuff compared to steel. You'll run out of pattern density before you'll run out of pellet energy with Bismuth. So, assuming you're shooting a 12 ga. with "super full" choke, provided your gun actually patterns these shells "super full" and doesn't blow the pattern with too much choke, and provided your shooting is up to it, 50 yds should be about the limit.

Speaking of pattern density, I think you could get away with #4 shot. The density is much closer to lead than hunting with steel.
