I took my black badge on a whim shortly after purchasing a pistol. i had zero to very little firearm knowledge or skill. I am still super green, but I am thankful for the BB course, I felt like I learned so much, it would have taken a longtime of plinking away to amass the knowledge I did in a very short period of time. Of course, everyone's mileage may vary...
