I understand what you're saying and this certainly makes sense. I practice exactly the type of trigger control you describe, but will be doubly-conscious of this on my next range visit.
A gun I own that has the most similar trigger would be a Girsan, but as with any other pistol, I have not experienced this issue.
If that's the method you're using it may not help much. I'd look closely at how the trigger on your Girsan sweeps and affects the spacing to the guard and compare that to the Bersa. It may suggest something. Also look closely at the radius and measure if with something if you can. Even a slightly tighter radius on the Bersa could be putting the pressure out to the sides of your finger and perhaps making the bits on either side of the nail bulge and become prone to being pinched. If so then it'll be a tough fix. There's SOME material you can remove to open up the radius. But it's not a lot.
I was looking at the Bersa as a different 9mm from my CZ's. But this pinching thing isn't exactly filling me with confidence that I won't run into the same issue.
