I'm going to develop a new load for my 7mm Rem Mag, rifle is a Tikka T3. I was previously shooting the 160gr Accubonds but am looking to switch it up. Will my stock barrel (1 in 9.5") stabilize the 180 grainers? I have got such great accuracy with the 160s I am skeptical I can achieve the same results in the 180 grain class.

If anyone has any experience with this load or has another recommendation for the 180 grainers for the 7mm rem mag let me know!

Thanks in advance

Unlikely the 9.5t will work great with the 180gr ELDm. Only one way to find out, send some downrange. The higher you are above sea level, and the faster the muzzle velocity, will help marginal stability

I shoot the 180 ELDm but my barrel is 1:8t

I've shot the 162gr ELDm in a T3x 7mm Rem Mag with great results

Thanks for the feedback, thats what I was thinking. Maybe I'll stick to the 160s and use the ELD Ms. What load are you shooting with the ELD Ms?

Thanks

64.4grs H4831sc / 162gr ELDm @ 3.35" OAL (.140" jump)
Federal brass / CCI 250 primer

63.6grs RL23 also shoots great
