Experience with Budget shooter supply

They are one of the BETTER dealers in Canada, and a lot of the dealer “sponsors “ could learn from Henry or whoever replaced him.
 
met Henry years ago in the gun show circles. He was a great source for surplus ammo back then and always a solid individual to deal with. That was before he started the Budget shooter supply business. Have ordered from him many times and referred lots of folks who all seemed equally happy dealing with him. I had no idea the business had sold to a new owner but sounds like who ever that is has done so seamlessly and with the same business standards.
 
They are excellent. The new owners have been excellent to deal with. I purchased some Ramshot Grand a couple weeks ago that they got for me by request. They are also bringing in some RCBS 6.8western dies for me. Cheers
 
I ordered from there a few weeks ago. No problems at all, and for the Vancouver area the shipping was quick too.

The bullets I ordered were the last ones of that type in stock -- hoping they get more before I run out.
 
Henry and the elves were awesome.

Some people may be PO'ed about a CC surcharge but they can pay by EMT instead - no problems. Small business, tight margins.

The new owner has not changed anything from what I can tell.

it was only 4.25 and it was still the cheapest place I could find
 
Budget is the GOAT. I just wish they had the buying power to stock even more but thats splitting hairs. Henry was/is top notch, a model of customer service. New owners seem to be carrying that legacy forward. Henry once accidentally sent 900 bullets instead of the 1000 ordered, a quick email asking if I could have them included with another order to bypass a shipping charge for him but he fired them off in the mail immediately, no charge. I'll keep buying from Budget as long as they'll keep selling me stuff.
 
I've spent literally thousands of dollars at Budget when Henry was at the helm. On more than one occasion I received an email stating upon packing he was able to fit my items into a smaller than expected box, so he refunded a couple bucks on shipping. Tell me who does that?!? I haven't had a need to order since the new owners took over, but by the sounds of this thread they are cut from the same cloth as Henry was, albeit a little less active on the forum here than he was
