Experience with D&L Airgun?

Has anyone had dealings with D&L Airgun? If so how were they? Looking at buying a high power .22 like a Benjamin or Gamo. Haven't ordered any kind of gun online before and am a little leary of the idea.
 
I have ordered parts from them in the past and they were very fast to ship.

They were almost too pleasant on the phone to.:)

YMMV but I plan on buying from them again if I ever do another build.
 
Thanks:) I might get them to send me an optic and a few accessories first. Reviews on the airguns I'm interested in are all over the place, but happy to hear their service is good!
 
I have dealt with them several times. When buying new, they were awesome, very prompt to ship good communication and excellent product. When I needed warranty work things went bad. I had to threaten to cancel the transaction through the credit card company before I got any service, and when I did get service I ended up having to deal with Customer service out of England (manufacturer of the product) to give D&L a little push. They do carry a lot of great products that others don't and there prices are competative. If you find they have what you are looking for buy it, they are legitimate and will get it out right away. I won't deal with them, but I won't tell others not to, as many many people have had good experiences with them.
 
I've bought scope mounts, accessories etc...but not a gun yet. They were superb to deal with. Never had any cause to return anything, so can't speak to any issues that might arise...but in my 2-3 transactions, they've been awesome. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.
 
D & L? Two years ago, their shipping policy was just plain stupid. They would not return to me an air rifle that I had sent in for repair at a very reasonable Canada Post rate. Instead, they returned the rifle by DHL, part of the German postal system but active world wide, at a cost to me three times what I had paid for Canada Post. I was :mad: and phoned them.

It was apparent they did not understand what the requirements are for shipping guns in Canada, stating emphatically, they they were obligated to use a service like DHL. They were then full of BS. :bsFlag:

Their work might by Ok by I would never deal with them again.
 
I bought a scope and mount from them. They actually checked the items I wanted on a gun of the model I was planning to use them one to ensure that there was enough clearance for the loading port. The products were well packaged and promptly shipped.

Same here bought from them 3 times now , no gun but the rest was just fine.
 
I have contacted them before for parts for my FAS air gun since they are the only official distributor in canada, they told me they dident have the part but had ordered some from the company and they would receive them soon. took 3 months and no answer contacted them again and they said oh we got the wrong ones we are still waiting. its been over a year and they never got back to me so i gave up and contacted a supplier in the states and got it in a week.

they seemed nice but since i was only buying 25$ worth of parts dident seem like they cared toomuch about keeping me up to date on the parts i needed.

too bad for them.
 
I just got a QB57 a few weeks ago, they sent it out the day I ordered. I also got a cleaning kit for it that they put in the same box. The shipping was $35.00, a bit much but not their fault I guess. The rifle weighs about 7 lbs. The rifle was in excellent condition and without any of the obvious flaws that I've read so much about. I say obvious because my wife won't let me play with it till Christmas. LOL
 
I just bought a gun and scope from them and everything went OK except they had to ship the scope seperate from the gun. The scope came by mail and the gun by courier about a week later. It added to the shipping cost, but otherwise their service was quite competant and I would buy from them again.

My new gun is under the tree and I can't wait for XMess.
 
bought a HW75 pistol ,various pellets,scope mounts all items packaged well ,fast delivery all items sent through Canada Post, had no waranty issues,will buy from them again.
 
i phoned them and they were very helpful. got my scope mounts in about a week. only thing i didnt like was they only mail out. i live 5 min away from the house they do biusness out of. oh well im still happy.
 
Best customer service of any company(not only gun dealers) I have ever dealt with. Ordered from them a bunch and wouldn't hesitate doing it again.
