Experience with "Speedfeed IV" 870 stock?

htp://www.tacticalshotgunner.com/speedfeed-tactical-stock-set-for-mossberg-500590-835-p-141.html

This is exactly what I got and where I got it, without my modification. They sell the side saddles, but there's a bit of work involved in tacking it on properly to the stock.

I recommend the bare stock 100%!

is this a Canadian site for online order?if not then how much they charge to send it in Canada?
Thanks.

This is just so cute... it deserved getting quoted again ;)

As manbearpig mentions upthread, though, I find pistol-gripped stocks a little bulky on a short shotgun and detract from their handiness. I've got Remington 870 Express laminated set on my Grizzly and even though there's more kick it's a slick, sleek gun

For Some reason wood looks better on these shorter guns (Just my opinion).

I am trying to find a laminate set as well - where did you get yours?

I picked it up off the EE here -- I actually bought it first before I had the Grizzly so I liked the look. And I agree --something about wood on a short shotgun looks "right" to me...not sure why.

those look like Wilson Combat ghost rings.
Casey at www.tacord.com sells them and installs them.
last i looked his prices for the tritium ones were lower than what dealers down in the US were asking for them in US dollars. i believe its $145 for the set (front/rear, with tritium inserts).

I recently put the Speedfeed on my 870 and am impressed. Also I did my company qualification using one on an 870 while firing off about 150-200 rounds of 00 Buck. While the Pistol Grip design's recoil reducing effects may be negligible when shooting 5 or 10 rounds; at an all day shoot, going through box after box, it sure is a nice addition to have.

If you have small hands it makes manipulating the action bar lock and other general shotgun manipulation skills more difficult however.
