experience with Tenda

I have been to Tenda twice. Once just walking in and buying stuff and the other I ordered a bunch of ammunition to hold for pickup. Both experiences were positive. Staff are also reasonably friendly in my experience. I have heard stories about people waiting for "in stock" stuff on back-order. I would call them before placing an online order or showing up and asking if they have it in the store. But as far as I'm concerned I will continue shopping with them. They have good prices and seem trustworthy. My main go-to store so far is Al Flaherty's. Their stock levels on their website seem to be always bang on. And the staff have been very friendly and helpful to me. Their selection and availability for some items is really good. I just wish I had a store like the closer to Brampton. Going to either of those places on a weekday evening is a nightmare.

i've dealt with them a few times, it went ok. the last email i sent to them to price match another dealers sale price went unanswered. the reason for the request was i told them i wanted to buy another gun so i ended up just buying one gun from the other dealer. oh well.

Bought my Henry Single Shot from them. They advertised it as a youth model, which is why I bought it, but when it showed up it was the normal model. They basically said Oh well our website guy ####ed up too bad. I was given the option to return it, but I didn't want to return it I wanted a damn youth stock for my kids. I ended up keeping it because the price was good, and they said they'd hook me up with some goodies on my next order. Well, I ordered again at some point, I mentioned the previous issue I had and how they'd say they'd hook me up with free goodies... And Nada. Not even a freakin' sticker.

At the time it was early into Covid, I tried to contact both the warranty center (Grech) and Henry themselves to see if I could just buy a youth stock for it, and nobody could help me at the time. I should contact Henry again, I hear they're sending stuff north again...

All and all not the biggest issue, and the price was very good, but I wasn't super happy about the whole experience.

I have purchased multiple items from ammo, rifles, mags and scopes from them. Always got what I ordered and having shopped around, always the best price on things I am looking for. (I buy from lots of others too).

Sometimes they sell you stuff that is not in stock (refunded $) but other than that they are pretty good.

They get a lot of business since they VERY often have the best prices. I can see something being out of stock between them getting your e-order and them pulling the stock. I've spent a few thou $$ there with NO shortages, even on 'hot' items like Barnaul ammo in various cals.

Bought a TruGlo red dot from Tenda for my Mossberg and upon opening the package discovered the lens was cracked at the bottom
of the reticle. Called Jonathan/Sales and brought it in for a quick refund a few days later.

My only regret was that Tenda did not have a replacement in stock. Have to wait for restocking, otherwise great customer service plus good pricing !

A member almost a year, asking if a "Banner Sponsor Business" is OK to order from ? WTF ? Have a food taster too ?

PS - This thread is from Last August - 7-months +. I hope OP has ordered something ;rolleyes:
I've spent over $1k there since then . . .

Meh, I've ordered lots from them and like others say prices are good and you will receive your item at some point.
I have never got a warm fuzzy feeling dealing with them, kinda along the same lines as buying from a big box store like Cabelas...they ain't doing sh@t above and beyond the bare bones minimum.

I thought I should give a heads up about their shipping. I placed order for ammo, got an email back saying that because of where I live there will be a $21 surcharge to deliver to my door. I phoned and they explained that the drop depots have to be certified to take explosives.
Ok, I agreed. A year ago paid the $21. Got a slip on my door saying it was in the next closest place…cell phone retailer. Went to pick it up….nope in another town here’s the address. This time at a grocery outlet. Neither one of those places should have had it, just sayin.

Fast forward to last week.

Same thing….i give up. And it was $21 yet again. At least I got the cell phone place which was closer.

Ammo prices are always excellent as is selection, and free shipping is a bonus.
Order on a Wednesday, and usually ships by Friday with Ups.
