There was one at a Kamloops Gun Show about 20 years ago. It was there with a laminated stocked Long Branch and a Long Branch T. All were in as new condition. They were very pricey at the time, the T was tagged at $1500 with all accessories and transit chest. I was seriously looking at it but the house reno was turning out to be more urgent. I wasn't sure about the laminated rifle being real so passed. It turned out to be correct. The EAL hornet was way beyond my knowledge levels and looked to be a very good job of gunsmithing.
The fellow that was selling the rifles wouldn't let people handle them. I don't blame him, they were pristine. I pulled out a pair of surgical gloves and he allowed me to inspect them. They were perfect. I wish I had been in a better financial position.
I heard later that all of the rifles on his table, other than the laminate were sold to a US dealer/collector. That sure looks like the same rifle. Wish it were mine.
