Anyone here can help me out? Tried a search on Livesearch and came up empty.

I recently purchased a Basque .380 simply because I didn't have one and it wasn't expensive. Upon receiving it, I started playing with it and was shocked by the crappy sound it made whenever I racked the slide back. So I partially disassembled it, sanded down the outer surface of the barrel (which the recoil spring would rub against, causing the gawdawful sound), polished the feed ramp and put her back together. Shortly after putting it back together & patting myself on the back for a diagnosis & job well done, the trigger transfer bar would no longer stay engaged. I'm sure the spring that I see is to blame, it seems to serve two purposes. One is to apply tension for the safety lever, and the other purpose is to push up on the trigger transfer bar.

So, anyone know where I can find parts? Otherwise, is it feasible/wise for me to attempt to silver-solder a little blob onto the tip of this spring? It seems that the spring material has thinned out where "I" believe the spring is supposed to push up against the transfer bar.

Thanks in advance for any help...
