Gents, good day.

Got a custom 9.3 bear blasterawayer built on Browning Safari M98 action.
20 inch Douglass with no sights.......seriously thinking about a nice set of express sights for this unit, even thinking a quarter rib.So, who does such work?

Appreciate any input.

Loose the tactical knob.
Replace it with a Talley classic style bolt handle. The 1/4 rib setup will still be overkill. Just my 2 cents worth of opinion Keep it as is, scope with a low powered variable. Hunt with it hard, the 9.3 will never let you down!
Start all over using a 98 Mauser action, classic wooden stock and go to town in the quarter rib sights, banded and hooded front. 1st class all the way, something you will really be proud to own.

That's kind of what I was thinking.
Start with an action and giv'er.
This one tho, the knob looks like a bit much, but it works when wearing mitts in -40.....it's a " practical" knob.

I might just class this thing up, who knows.

Thanks for the ideas.

The solution for that problem if mechanic gloves inside your heavy mitts.

I suggest installing your front sight/band maybe a 1/2 inch back from your muzzle so that it is easier to tape off your barrel.
