Hey anyone know where the best place is to get these screws? I'm currently bedding a new stock on a 700 and need longer screws to make it all fit properly.

Any tips would be appreciated!

Sometimes the hole in the bottom metal can be drilled slightly deeper to accommodate a slight change... it depends on how high the screw sits now...

Thanks RePete. I've never ordered from them. Was hoping I could source it in Canada but maybe these guys will be just as easy.

I have drilled bottom metal before but I've got new bottom metal this time and looks like I've got a sizeable gap to make up. Just want to do it proper.

Have you put the action in and the bottom metal and looked where the trigger sits inside the trigger guard... often many replacement stocks are too 'thick' and the trigger sits really 'high' in the trigger guard. Inletting is required to fix this. Either the top metal or bottom metal or both need to be deeper in the stock.
