Extended mag release on ruger american?

Wondering if anyone has tried putting on an extended mag release for a 10/22 on a Ruger american? I haven't opened up the american yet but seeing as tho it takes the same magazine it may have the same release.

i tried out a tactical solutions one way back when i first got mine but there was too much distance between the mag release and the trigger guards, think i have a pic on my online album still.

so the short mag release should work.

ya the medium length paddles ones should work fine.

Extended paddle release does work, did mine a couple months ago....completely drop in fit
