Extending CZ858 folding stock ideas

After shooting for 40 years with the "shotgun stance",it is easier just to weld in a 1 1/4 " chunk of steel. I double para cord wrapped my metal stock and got it to the right height for my slavic cheek bones. Now I have to get a few more folders modified and sell off all my expensive attempts at finding the right sight picture for me.

I hear you, I shot for over 20 years with the shotgunners stance. It was surprisingly easy to make the transition though, and after a few range sessions it felt wrong to not square my shoulders. I was just presenting another option.:)

I paracord wrapped my stock as well, but just a single wrap, to make it more comfortable to shoot in the winter months.

Deckard that thing is BAD A$$!!! Does the optic hold zero half decent?

To the posters above I just got my first cz/vz with folding stock. I'm 6'2" when I first shouldered it I was like oh crap this thing is gonna come back and crack me in the nose. Well the first time I fired it I realized that wasn't going to happen with ZERO recoil. But after reading this thread I changed my stance and it made a big difference. Lots of room now. Love the folder way more compact. Hell love the platform. I want one of every barrel length in both calibers!! :) :)
