Extra Thick recoil pads?

I often need to lengthen LOP on rifle stocks and have found that the Limbsaver Nitro at 1 1/2" thick solves the problem nicely. Nicely as in no spacers; not so nicely as in they arent the prettiest thing around. I havent seen them around much lately either.

Any ideas of other extra thick, 1 1/2" or so
pads?

Any recoil pad I've seen looks sort of goofy so id stick with what you know works (not what looks best) my 2 cents

I'm fighting a bad case of bursitis in my shoulder and was looking for extra padding, plus thickness to extend LOP.
Although these are only 1" thickness, they are very reasonably priced @ $8.25us and can be swamped between rifles if need be.
Functional not functionable. (not the best looking for sure but work)
11cm x 3.5cm ID and will stretch a lot more.

A good shooting vest will disperse the shock over a bigger area. Busted shoulder and bursitis, never go without it.

I’ve done a few with the Kick Eez pad which is 1.125” and used their spacer which comes up to 0.500”. When you pair them up they look pretty good and are very functional for heavy recoil.

I have 2 1 1/2 nitromag pads. 338LM and 300WM they are the best pads out there and just completely make a brake useless

Go 1/2 way down the page & look for period correct recoil pad 1 1/2" thick.

I was able to get some ebony from a specialty lumber store so I was able to make a spiffy spacer. This, with a grind-to-fit pad, ended up making a very nice stock extension on a Benelli.

No way around it. Thick pads are hard on the eyes just as much as a spacers.

You might as well go ahead and make it full route ugly.
