Extractor Problems

Hi,

I have a Savage model 12 VLP and it seems the extractor only pulls the spent casing out partway before letting go. Anyone encounter this problem before? Any suggestions?

Yes, replace the ball bearing under the extractor with a 3.5 mm bearing available from Brafassco or fastenal.

Word of caution, do it in a box or bag. I did 2 this morning.

Is it a 223. Call Savage they will have replacement parts out to you in a few days.
