one mike for me, a few more for Euxx. but holy ####, rain. rain, rain, rain, rain.
good stages, but because of the rain you couldn't really exploit them too well. the bags over the target is always annoying as you can end up unsure of where the target is exactly. But when it rains this much, you need the bags. I would expect the times from the preshoot days to be much better. Of course the rain stopped when we left at 2. figures.

today was a good day, perfect weather. had the chance to go pretty much balls out. I'd say today was one of the most fun days I've had shooting in a long time. had to argue with an RO, CRO, Area Range master and then finally a nice talk with Barry got it solved. the ignorance and attitude of a few people amazed me. Basically threatening a shooter with a DQ and being dicks to a squad is unacceptable. but it was fun to prove them wrong. Thankfully Barry is a good guy.
30th overall for me in Production. Euxx was 96th.
I am very happy with how I climbed after the first day. Although some amateur mistakes cost me probably 10-15 places. I shot a ton of Alpha's a much higher precentage than normal. I hope I can stay on this high when I get back. I had 4 top 10 stage finishes and one of those wsa 5th (I was hoping for one stage win damnit).

i have ####loads of pictures and video from the match. very few outside of match pictures could be taken though. those clubs are very strict......

Just got back hoe from Extreme Euro Open. As Rob already said, I didn't do too well, but for the first such big competition it was solid 63% from the match winner. More importantly I had a great time.
Thanks to Katka, the match organizers and some of RO for organizing and running the match. It was a great experience for me.

Sorry to hijack this thread with that again but I just looked at the results and Eric won by 12% !!! What the f**k?!?! It seems that after all those years, he is still improving! He must have sold his soul to the devil or something like that!

they should build the berms higher,...and bring the stages in closer to the berm so they don't call on high muzzle angled mag changes or malfunction clearings....I think the high muzzle angle call is akin to IDPA calls on cover,...subjective to the angles of the shooter vs berm,...vs head cant of the RO....etc...etc...etc... Does not make me want to overly fly overseas for a Euro match.
There are many complaints at the GV too. At least one guy was scored minor becoz the chrono guy and the RM don't understand the rules. The crazy thing is this is the 2nd year with the same RM and same problem. Last year the same RM made shooters use tape to pin grip the grip safety becoz he won't allow internal pinning but there's nothing in the rules to say you must use tape.

i checked the website for the match and saw that there were 48 DQ's. that's a lot of shooters.
