10 stages down this morning, 20 more over the next two days (half day for 10). Best weather we've ever had in Czech for this match, I think it hit 30 C today. Which of course means the range staff was wearing bikinis on some stages, life is rough...
Great stages and great fun. Didn't get many pics as we actually focused on shooting, well some did, I started a bit rough, and Czech is always known for the physical component, running and then gunning, with a partially torn achilles still healing, it makes that stuff fun, but nonetheless I had a f*cking blast today with my squad. Kind of cool to have two Russian Ex SF guys guarding one of the shooters too. Nice guys.
 
so, finished the match hobbling about, 73% of my buddy Ljubisa from Serbia. Ben Stoeger was 3rd and Robin Sebo 2nd. Lub shot a great match and kept his focus, even in the eye of me and Angus f*cking around and cracking jokes, and incredibly hot range stafff in bikinis for most of the match. Over 700 competitors in the main match, run in 3 days. 30 stages, 600+ rounds, 30 degree heat. It was awesome. 10 stages a day, half days, and of course the sites around Znojmo to keep you occupied off the range. Good to see some other Canucks there too, hopefully more next year.
 
Was great to finally meet up with you.
Had many issues (topping off with a torn MCL) but had fun never-the-less. Exposure to these more difficult matches certainly improves the approach to the game.
