How much of a difference do the Hodgdon extreme powders actually make in the temperature changes. I live in a climate where temperatures are a fairly large factor, but I don't want to necessarily limit my options. Thanks.
IMO only a limited difference. When it gets cold out the velocities are still lower, when hot, higher. I'd go with what shoots the best in your gun. Don't worry too much about the powder.
