I just bought a S&B PMII scope for my Swiss Arms Sniper. The problem I have is that I can't get the right eye relief if I mount a ring in either side of the turrets (there is not enough room on the picatinney rail to get the scope as far forward as I need). I am trying to source an AD-RECON 34mm cantilever mount, which I know will fix the problem.

In the meantime, I've rigged up a sort of uni-centred mount, with both 34mm rings between the eyepiece and the turrets. I know this is not the most ideal way of mounting the scope, as it leave the front relatively unsupported. But, is it actually bad? Anyone else ever mounted both rings behind the turrets to get the proper eye relief?

I wouldn't mount a scope that way. A bad knock on the end of that long lever will do way more damage than the same hit would weree the scope conventionally mounted.

Either the S&B has absurdly long eye relief, or you have a comically long neck.
