2011 Eastern Canada F-Class Championships



The National Capital Regional Rifle Association and the DCRA are please to host the first annual Eastern Canadian F-Class Championships June 30- July 3, 2011. The event will be held at the Premier shooting facility in Canada, Connaught Range.

Schedule:

Thursday, June 30 – registration, rifle inspection and sighters 7, 8 & 900 meters

Thursday, June 30 late afternoon – POT SHOOT (weather and time permitting)
- $10.00 entry fee ($2.00 for target pullers, $8.00 pot)
- One person per target
- 2 sighters and 5 unmarked shots for score
- Smallest GROUP wins!
- One F(TR) winner, One F(open) winner.
- Winner will be announced at the BBQ

Friday, July 01
- 4 sighters and 15 on score at 700m (only the last two sighters are convertible)
- 4 sighters and 15 on score at 800m(only the last two sighters are convertible)
- Lunch
- 4 sighters and 15 on score at 900m(only the last two sighters are convertible)
- 2 sighters and 15 on score at 900m
- Canada Day BBQ at NCRRA club house

Saturday, July 02
- 2 sighters and 15 on score at 700m
- 2 sighters and 15 on score at 800m
- Lunch
- 2 sighters and 15 on score at 900m
- 2 sighters and 15 on score at 900m

Sunday, July 03
- 2 sighters and 15 on score at 900m
- 2 sighters and 15 on score at 900m
- Lunch
- Award Ceremony

Registration and Entry Fees:
- A max number of 60 competitors are being planned for
- $250.00 entry fee with 50% payable by May 01 and balance due by June 01
- Entry BBQ ticket

Accommodations:
- Barracks - $10.00 per day semi private or $20.00 per day private
- Food – 3 meals at the mess hall - $30.00 per day (have to buy complete day)
- Local hotels will be provided on request

Prizes and Awards:
- A keeper trophy for each Grand Aggregate winner F(O) and F(TR)
- A keeper plaque for each distance aggregate winner F(O) and F(TR)
- A DCRA gold medal will be given to Grand Aggregate winners
- Trophy for the high V bull F(O) and F(TR)
- Cash prizes will be determined by the number of competitors
- Door prizes will be to be drawn at time of Awards

For those shooters who find the DCRA's CFRC Nationals too long,here is your chance to shoot The Famous (infamous ?) Connaught Range over a 3 or 4 day period.
Get your reservations in early and who knows you just might be the lucky one who gets the barrack with the Jaccuzzi and swim up bar!!!
And for what it's worth...40 or 50 bucks a day for bed and 3 excellent mess meals is a STEAL!!!
Be sure to check your equipment and template for ammo regs. Lotsa time to get ready but it goes by Fast..

I know this is falling on the same weekend as some other great matches here in Canada. BE SURE to book into at least ONE of them.

Thursday is specifically outlined 1 person per target. What about Friday, Saturday, Sunday morning ??
Will it be single string firing in pairs, or pair firing????
