F-class sightron reticle

I think it depends if you like to hold or dial your windage. If you hold I think it would work well because you'll have the hash marks to use as reference. If you dial all your windage then the fine crosshair may be a better choice.
FWIW I have scopes with both those reticles on different rifles and there have definitely been times that I wish I had the hashes on my F-Class gun.

I love this type of reticle and have it in my March's. However, this Sightron scope has .25 MOA turret adjustments and I feel that isn't the best for F-Class so I went with the plain crosshair dot for my latest Sightron scope purchase. If the scope had .125 MOA adjustments I would have bought this type of reticle.
This reticle can really pick you up points in individual shooting. Not so much of a benefit in team shooting.

I have both, target dot on my 8-32x56 which I was using last year for F-O. I now also have a 10-50x60 LRMOA and I since I tend to hold off instead of dial the wind adjustments I think that one might be more useful than a target dot/FCH, I'll be trying it next year, I like the floating dot of the LRMOA for the indoor .22 stuff.
Can't say I find much advantage of 1/8 clicks vs 1/4 clicks even for long range stuff, a slight sunlight change will throw elevation off more than the difference between the 2.

Even simpler, a fine cross hair for F Class. Use the target rings for hold offs or move the turrets as you see fit.

Reticle choice really boils down to preference, ambient conditions, and style of wind doping.
Sold a bunch of FCH and TD's until the LRMOA came out. Now this reticle is like 4 to 1. Not all will be used in F class of course but the trend is certainly there.
I started with FCH. Then moved to LRMOA.
Now I have 2 CUSTOM SHOP SIII 10-50X60 with LRMOA reticle in a 1/8 min click chassis.
This reticle swap can happen with any SIII scope so you can also do that if you prefer the 8-32X56 scope.
I gave some pretty solid hints that Sightron should really consider putting the LRMOA reticle into 1/8 min click tubes. Let's see if anyone was listening - SHOT is next week.
I believe 1/8 min clicks is really important for elevation control at LR but 1/4 min click is plenty for windage. But I hold off more often then not so all those lines really come in handy.
