F-ing Glocks!

The Gen3 grip works just fine as does the aftermarket SS guide rod and ISMI recoil spring I installed but didn't have too. No to Gen 4 here.

Wow, Pretty Shiny!

Holy hell, it looks like you used Armor All on it!

Bwahahahahaha.... the new joke... what type of lubricant does Glock Recommend? Armor All!:adult:

I had a generation 1 Glock 17, bought it in 1987.

I sold it in 2006 to a CGN member. It was a good gun & I never had a problem with it. A year or so later I bought a CZ85C in 9mm to replace it.

I like both the CZ & the Glock, however I find the CZ easier to shoot & a little more accurate.

I think Glocks are awesome. I joke about them being tactical tupperware, as does everyone else, but they are a very functional and reliable autoloader. Lots of goodies for them too.

Target Sports (check my other posts for my opinion)

THey are available to order online at Questar as well ... but Target Sports is cheaper right now

I was like you a few years back. Hated glocks, didn't know why, just did, would never own one.

Badly wanted a 10mm, so I said 'what the hell', threw caution to the wind and bought a G20. Love it, and could never imagine not owning at least one glock.

Definitely a convert, and it still seems weird!

Enjoy

It's the camera flash. Any way, anyone have stove pipes yet with their new Gen4s? Just wondering. The recoil springs aren't all that friendly to lighter loads "apparently." I read about the stovepipes on Glocktalk all the time. There is even a 3rd or 4th thread there tonight. Lots of complaints. But hey, I like that grip!

Here a quote:

"I'm really not sure what to say about the Gen4 17. I have spoken with Glock technicians Anthony, Fred, and another who's name I forgot, and they all have mentioned receiving many reports of stovepipe malfunctions with the new Gen4 17's. This is NOT just an issue that 4 or 5 people on Glocktalk have. To those that doubt this feel free to call Glock and ask them yourself. 770-432-1202 and ask for Technical Services."
