These will be internally pinned, there is no rivet used. Yes it is permanent and they have all been tested on a closed bolt.

No!!!!! read into it!!!!! everything is always permanently pinned. We have internally pinned these, to stop someone asking the obvious it is just easier to mention it. Hence mentioning you can install the mag with a closed bolt.

Not gonna lie, for the price was hoping for a simple rivet so it isn't butchered up

They are not butchered, They are nicely done, I know this to be the case because our Compliance Dept. spent all day doing it.

We received countless emails asking for an aesthetically pleasing way of pinning them.

When you spend that kind of money on a magazine we get it.
