FAB Defense 858 handguard rail type?

Sorry if this has already been asked but I can't find the right info from suppliers or on this board. What are the specs on the rails of the FAB Defense polymer handguard? Weaver or straight Picatinny?

I have been led to believe that they are not exactly the same thing, although they are very close. Are you saying that it's a non-issue?

i would hold off on the fab stuff................................ in the coming weeks there will be another choice in that price range and it wont be plastic.............

They are not the same, but similar. The cuts on a Weaver spec rail are slightly narrower than on a Picatinny rail. That's the big difference anyways, not sure if that's the only one.
