FAB Defense Folding Stock?

Hi,

I was wondering what people think about the FAB Defense Folding Butt Stock with adjustable cheek piece?

When I look at the modified CZ 858 thread I don't see many people using it. I was wondering if there was a reason for that? Is is the price or are they not good stocks?

I like the look of them but I have not seen one in person so don't know how good their fit and function is.

There is also a polymer joint model and a metal joint model. Which is preferred and why? On zahal . org the metal joint model costs $300.00 where as the polymer joint is only $123.00.

I searched this before I posted but did not come up with much useful information.

I had the polymer joint one and was pleased with it, locked up solid. The adjustability made a good cheek weld with irons or optics. I think the reason there aren't as many of them around as the others is because no one in canada carries the product, I had no probs with zahal.org btw.

Just installed one, ordered through Zahal, this week. Really like it. It locks up solid, and gives me perfect cheek weld with my NEA cowitness handguard and TRS25. I now have enough LOP on that rifle...

I have one on my CSA as well. Great upgrade from the steel folder stock. I'm not sure why it isn't that popular.

I picked one up from Wolverine Supplies a while ago. I love it, very solid folder for the price.

I have one of these stocks on all three of my cz's and really like them. Best stock out there. Length of pull is a little long for even my 6'3 frame. I like commy block lengths better.

It is good to know that the length of pull is fairly long. That is something I will have to consider.
