Yes, I do have the right Gen Glock and model of stock.

It's stopping about 3mm short of locking in to the little hole at the back of the grip on the Glock. Just a little too tight to go all the way in. The Glock is a Gen 3 G17, and I tried it on a different Gen 3 G17 and G22, with the same results.

Do these stocks require fitting, and if so, where do you need to take material off.
 
I adapted a Fab butt on a Glock 17 gen 4. Worries was the same, I could not fit it completely.
I filed down the part that enters the Glock butt ! For more worries ! It holds very well.
