FAB Defense or Magpul CTR??

Magpul for the win, I just browsed the Fab Defense site and there stuff is OK, but Magpul has put a lot of effort into developing there product so it not only preforms well but looks impeccable. Magpul's design is pure genius.

The Fab Design is cool if i where building a sweet looking VZ 858. But id probably still put a CTR stock on it. That's just my 2 cents.

The FAB stuff is pretty much crap, much like airsoft crap that is bolted onto real firearms. It is a cheap solution for some "types" to doll up rifle with cheap plastic so they look HSLD. Not IMHO combat or serious game (3 GUN matches, Tactical Carbine matches,etc) worthy but may last a few range sessions with the casual shooter.
 
Yup,I think I got the message... CTR good FAB bad....since I do plan to compete in 3gun and tac matches,not to mention the practice will help me transition back to the C7/C8 when the time comes..
 
the ctr is very nice i have a bunch of magpull stuff.
But to say the FAB stuff is crap is just not true, it has to be some of the best plastics i have seen in years, not a magpul for sure but better then that standard RRA armalite colt DPMS and no name tapco, UTG stuff.
4x more then good enough for any type of shooting, other then sandbox stuff.
Has to be 2x better then the s**t on the c7a2

I'd have to argue that one , the FAB stuff is still not there with regards to QC ,fit and finishing. It may be structurally sound but that means nothing if it doesn't fit properly or the molding was off.
