FAB furniture?

I just bought a nearly new 858 and it came with a FAB polymer HG.
Is it sturdy enough to mount a dot sight on or should I buy an aluminum HG.

Ive had one for over a year on my Fab handguard, its never been a problem.

The FABs are okay...I had one for about a year myself. Where it has issues is in changing zero after removing the handguard to clean the gun.

I found my point of aim would shift 2-3 MOA every time I removed the handguard.

I now have the much, much awesomer NEA handguards. If you can swing the funds, the NEAs are the heat.

Looks like an even split.
Since I have the FAB I'll just use it
and it will work, or it won't.
