Anyone got one of those Fabarm Martial Composite 14" shotguns? If so how do you like it?

Can I swap the barrel to a longer one for skeet? How hard is this to do?

I am itching for a new toy and I am thinking I should get a shotgun because I dont have one! I dont have any non-restricteds as a matter of fact and I would like something to keep around in the truck up north and to shoot in the woods for ####s and giggles!

Would be better with a Nova tactical or 870P... those 2 are rock solid. Fabarm has an hawsome look with the pistol grip but as far as ruggedness....

Yes you can also get sporting length barrels with interchangeable inner choke tubes. They are listed on our price list.

As far as the Nova being tougher, Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

I picked up a 14" Composite this spring (via TSE).
Really like the fit and finish and the action is breaking in smooth as butter.
I went with the plain ramp sight and regular grip/stock 'cause I'm a traditional type o' guy.
It also came with a nice case and full choke attachment for "skeet". Haven't used it yet...having too much fun blasting slugs and #4 shot. Get one, you'll like it.

When I'm talking about the Nova, it is backed by use and experience with 2 of them (tactical and turkey). A lot of guys at my club had problem with the Fabarm jamming while attempting to eject and cycling the stoooopid spring-assisted forearm. But I have to admit the some of the Fabarm are very nice looking.

I've had no problems with my Fabarm 14", and I get carried away somedays.

I heard the same about Novas though, so what do I know. I like the Fabby.

I've never had any problems with mine jamming, fail to feed or fail to eject....Tell your buddies "NOT" to short stroke it.:p

If you don't like the spring......just take it off and chuck it. I like mine better without the spring, but I also got rid of that huge stupid looking forend and replaced it with the short forend.........Much, much better. It makes me want to :dancingbanana:

I love mine; I have a proforces model. The extended full choke (included) is very impressive!

Shot, slugs (2 3/4 & 3") & buckshot, no problems to date.

you guys may be interested in knowing that IntelGDR691 is the : kick the door kind of guy for the Montreal police. Excuuuuuse me, but a good greasy "poutine" (that's been left on a Crown Vic dash board) can be a very good gun lube if your out of CLP...;)

your about as funy as a dentist visit

Don't get all poodley on me, I was joking. Your hero thought it was funny so... start laughing!

After seeing the pics etc, I am going to buy it. I called TSE and they have some coming in this week.

I only have restricteds so it will be nice to have a 'truck gun' that I can take with me when I go up north etc for shooting various things, maybe doing a little shotgun art...;)

Thanks for all of the info.

I have seen lots of folks jam up Benellis, Berettas, and Remingtons. Operator headspace is usually the issue.
As pointed out above, if you don't like the spring assist (I don't either), then just remove it.

so these guns come with the case and extended barrel included at the $550 price at TSE?

I want a 14" shoty, and that's cheaper then an 870 + dlask barrel. or trying to find a rem police.

does anyone know the exact weight of the 14" composate with bead sight?

and how many rounds it holds?

is the 14" barrel choked? or cly?
